Ever since its inception in 1969, GAC Sharjah has been providing a comprehensive range of shipping and logistics services to local and international clients.  GAC Sharjah had been involved in several developmental and infrastructural onshore and offshore projects in the Emirate.

In addition to Sharjah, GAC Sharjahs area of operation covers Ajman, Hamriyah, Umm Al Quwain and Khorfakkan. The company also serves several large oil and gas companies, handling their oil rigs and accommodation barges that dock at Port Khalid, Sharjah Creek and Ajman.

The Emirate of Sharjah is also home to Gulf and Continental Bunker Fuels Co. Ltd. BVI (GACBF), part of the GAC Group's network of offices arranging bunker supplies worldwide.
