National Shipping Gulf Agency Company (Abu Dhabi) Ltd. L.L.C. (NSGAC) has been operating in Abu Dhabi since 1967. Before the port of Mina Zayed was built, in 1972, the shallow draught only allowed tugs and barges to bring cargo ashore. At that time, NSGAC took part in handling of cargo by lightering ocean-going vessels at sea.
From the start, NSGAC has been involved in the development of Abu Dhabi by handling industrial project logistics. The company has developed its services from the original shipping agency business, to include a wide range of shipping and logistics services. NSGAC is firmly committed to service and quality as underlined by the ISO certification for the range of shipping agency and logistics services it provides.
Abu Dhabi is also home to GAC Marine, the head office of the GAC Group's Marine Division, providing a comprehensive range of services to the marine and offshore industries in the Middle East.
