Many of the qualities required to make a winning motor racing team can be seen every day in GAC’s operations – cooperation, high performance, dedication, professionalism, meticulous planning, attention detail, ability to respond at a moment’s notice.
That’s why GAC enjoys its links with the world of motor-racing, both as a provider of vital support services for events like MotoGP, the A1 Grand Prix and World Rally Championships, and as a sponsor.

Racing names we sponsor include FIA Formula 2 driver Alex Brundle (the son of Formula 1 legend Martin Brundle) and one of the top four F1 motor racing teams, AT&T Williams.

It’s known as “The Beautiful Game” and at GAC, we understand its appeal – and its potential.

For several seasons, we have supported clubs in the Premiership League and the Coca-Cola Football League Championships, and we sponsor English football clubs Crystal Palace FC and Sheffield United FC. The GAC logo can be seen at the clubs' grounds as well as in printed material, backdrops, team and replica outfits, prime position pitch perimeter advertising boards and signage.

Many a business deal is sealed on the links, and GAC folk are not immune to the charms of the green.

Our stable of sporting brand ambassadors includes South African professional golfer Richard Sterne, who signed up with GAC in 2004, and European Tour star golfer Graeme Storm, who joined in 2007, the year he clinched his maiden title in the French Open.

As brand ambassadors, Sterne and Storm attend and support GAC corporate golf events and appear in international tournaments under the GAC banner.

The ocean wave is the natural habitat of many GAC folk, so it was no surprise when the Group joined forces with leading independent sailing company, Team Pindar, to form “Team GAC Pindar”.

Racing under a British flag and based in Bahrain, the team’s 40-foot catamaran made its made its debut in the European Sailing Series in May 2010 and has clocked up a number of significant successes in yacht races since then.

Cricket is hugely popular in many of GAC’s home markets, so the addition of English star cricketer Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff to GAC’s stable of sponsored sportsmen in 2010 brought many smiles. His signing reflects the fact that the same skills and values that drive top cricketers – energy, focus, dedication and teamwork – are also those that make a company great.

Flintoff made his international debut as Captain of England’s Under-19 team for the 1996/1997 season test match tour of Pakistan, after which he emerged as an integral international player for England, rated among the top international all rounder in both ODI and Test cricket. He was made Captain of the England team in 2006. At the end of the 2009 Ashes Series, Flintoff announced his retirement from Test cricket, but remains active in One Day International and Twenty20 International matches.
