Overview
The Mexican economy is the world 11th largest, fuelled largely by oil exports and tourism. As an export-oriented economy, more than 90% of Mexican trade is conducted under Free Trade Agreements with more than 40 countries. These include NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement) with the USA and Canada, and others that include the European Union, Japan, Israel, and most of central and southern America.
In Mexico, the GAC Group formed an allaince with veteran agency Tomas Ruiz S.A. in 2008, to provide a broad range of professional ship agency services to all kinds of ships calling at the country’s ports and terminals.
