Overview

With the world’s fifth largest oil reserves, Kuwait is the 11th richest country in the world, per capita. Its oil fields were discovered and started being exploited in the 1930s, and petroleum and its products still account for nearly 95% of export revenues. Other major industries include shipping, construction, cement, water desalination, construction materials and financial services.

It was in Kuwait that the GAC story started more than 50 years ago. GAC Kuwait was established in 1956, as a joint venture with two local businessmen.

Today, we are the country's leading shipping agency providing a wide range of shipping services including: ship agency, tanker agency, husbandry and representation of most International Group P&I Clubs. We also offer a comprehensive package of logistics services such as sea and air freight forwarding, customs clearance, project forwarding, local and overland transportation, courier services (UPS), local and international moving, warehousing and distribution services.
