Overview
Shipping has been a key element in the Greek economy since ancient times. The Greek-owned maritime fleet is still the world's largest, representing about 18% of the global fleet capacity, although it is down from the all-time high in the 1970s. Tourism is a major source of foreign exchange earnings and revenue accounting for 15% of Greece's total GDP.
Since its establishment in 1986, GAC Greece has provided complete coverage of ports and terminals throughout the country. Our more than 100 employees provide a wide range of shipping, logistics and related services. Long-standing close relationships with local authorities ensure our customers are well looked after in all their service needs.
