Overview
Congo’s economy is dominated by the energy sector, with petroleum extraction accounting for 65% of the GDP, 82% of government revenues and 92% of exports in 2008. Natural gas and diamonds are also recent major exports.
In Congo, GAC has formed an alliance with leading ship agent GETMA International. GAC-GETMA provides a broad range of professional ship agency and logistics services to vessels calling at the country’s ports.
Founded in 1978, GETMA is present in more than 20 West African countries.
