Overview

Since the signing of the peace treatly in 2006 ending nearly 30 years of civil war, Angola has seen rapid development as it strives to put the past behind it. That growth development has driven by rapidly rising oil production, with Angola now the second-largest petroleum producer in sub-Saharan Africa.

GAC’s long experience in operating in challenging environoments comes to the fore in Angola. Safety and security are a key focus of our operations there. We have played a role in the country’s recovery process since we started operations in 1998. In addition to ship agency services at all ports and terminals, we provide key support services to the offshore oil industry and rank as Angola’s leading crude tanker agency.
